Step 1- Sink Option (If Compatible)
The original Showerbird® sink connection was designed to be simple—just remove the aerator from your bathroom sink and replace it with the included Showerbird® sink connector. *Some newer sinks no longer accommodate.

Step 2- Shower Set-Up Option (Most Common Method)
Showerbird® now installs just as easily as replacing a standard showerhead. Simply remove your existing showerhead—using a small wrench if needed—and attach the Showerbird® diverter in its place. Next, reattach your showerhead to either of the two threaded outlets on the diverter, then connect the Showerbird® quick-connect to the remaining open thread. Once secured, your Showerbird® is ready to use!
Now that your Showerbird® is installed, you’re ready to provide a natural, consistent bathing experience 💦

When it’s time for Showerbird®, simply use the quick-connect feature on the hose — Designed to effortlessly use 3-5 times per week (or more)
When finished, simply disconnect Showerbird®, drain any remaining water from the connection end, and hang it over your shower rod to allow the NSF-61 certified antimicrobial hose to dry properly. (Typically within a few hours)
When not in use, the system stays neatly out of the way in the Showerbird® bag, blending into your space without becoming an eyesore.

Showerbird® installs in minutes—but every bird learns at their own pace. Some birds engage right away, others observe before participating. This is normal. What Showerbird® offers:

Rubber washers are included inside all adapters. Always use them—they are essential for a secure, leak-free connection. They may dislodge during shipping and can be simply re-inserted.

Before first use, run hot water through the hose. This softens the material for easier shaping and positioning.

Never have your bird nearby while adjusting the hose or wand. Always set up and test water flow first.
There Are Two Groups That Need to Learn About Showerbird® —
Your Bird and You
Showerbird® is unlike anything else on the market, so it’s normal for both you and your bird to need time to adjust. Some birds immediately open their wings, while others may stay still and observe. What feels new at first can become a natural, even bonding experience.
You may also notice a gentle “whoosh” sound—similar to rainfall and unfamiliar to most captive birds. Don’t assume your bird dislikes it if they don’t react right away. With patience and repeated exposure, most birds grow comfortable and begin to enjoy it. Naturally 💦
